Nicolas Negroponte is the founder of the MIT Media Laboratory, and he excelled in the information revolution as an inventor, thinker and "angel investor." In this talk, he explains how impetus is given to "One Laptop per Child" project, building computers for children in developing countries. This computer is a wireless Internet-enabled, pedal-powered computer costing roughly $100.
Negroponte hopes to put "One Laptop" in the hands of millions of children by 2010.
